Use this  page to turn the emergency message on the website on and off. The message will appear at the top of all pages on the website so please be careful!

  1. Headline - plain text with no formatting options. Please keep to 30 characters or fewer so mobile users can read it  (optional)
  2. Icon - will appear on left side of header. This is optional so  click 'Clear' if you don't want an icon
  3. Message - will appear below the Headline.  Try to keep to fewer than two lines. Use buttons at top of page to add formatting and links
  4. Ready to publish/emergency over?
    1. To make the emergency message live, change the 'Publish emergency message?' option to live and click Save in the top right
    2. To hide the emergency message, change the 'Publish emergency message?' option to hidden and click Save
  5. Can't see the changes? Force them through by going to www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/_recache
  6. Still can't see them? Click the Details tab above, change the status to 'Approve and Make Live' and click Save
