Meet the Chief Executive of your National Park

Meet the Chief Executive of your National Park

Our Meet the Chief Executive local roadshows, with Phil Mulligan, are an opportunity to speak to Phil in an informal setting and share your views, ideas, opinions, or other feedback about the work of the National Park Authority or the National Park Management Plan.

These events are held regularly, around once a month, at venues across the National Park.

There is no need to book a place or contact us beforehand, just simply drop in during the session times shown below or on local publicity materials. Phil will aim to speak to everyone who attends the events where time and venue capacity allows. If Phil doesn’t get chance to speak with you in person at the time, you may leave details of your feedback with a member of the team to follow-up at an alternative venue or by email.

Planning applications

Due to the very high volume of planning applications we receive each year and to allow a wide range of topics to be covered at each event, Phil will unfortunately not be able to discuss specific residential or business applications. However, you are welcome to provide feedback or join us to discuss broader planning and development issues, strategy and policy planning or transport, for example.

Where will Phil be?

  • 30 April 2024 (4pm-6pm) - Stanage Hall (within the Memorial Hall - post code S32 1DU)
  • 23 May 2024 (1pm-3pm) - The Chakra Lounge, Bakewell

If you have any questions regarding the Meet the CEO events, please do not contact hosting venues directly but email customer.service@peakdistrict.gov.uk.

Previous roadshows and feedback

Would you like to host a Meet the Chief Executive event?

If you have a community venue that may be suitable for an event, please email victoria.peel@peakdistrict.gov.uk.

Be aware that we only have the opportunity for around one event each month and aim to visit as much of the National Park as possible across the year. This may mean that Phil cannot visit all the locations offered to us.

We ask that all those attending are respectful and courteous to the on-site staff and venue, other members of the public and any colleagues present from the National Park Authority.
