Please add the details from your Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP or Notice) using the form below to:

  1. Pay online
  2. Appeal the notice
  3. Transfer liability

Ways to Pay

If payment is received within 14 calendar days of the Notice then the charge is reduced by 50%.  Pay the charge in full within 28 days of the date of this Notice, and no further action will be taken.

  1. You can pay online (this is the preferred method and is logged against your Notice on completion of the payment)
  2. Telephone – credit/debit cards only.  Automated payment line only 03301 642793 24 hours / 7 days a week.  Please ensure you have your card details and Notice number to hand before calling.
  3. By post – Do not send cash, this cannot be accepted

Please allow at least 4 working days for the payment to be received, the Authority cannot be responsible for delays in transit.

Cheques should be made payable to “Peak District National Park Authority”.

Please ensure that your vehicle registration and Notice number are marked on the reverse for it to be allocated to the correct Notice.

Please complete the payment slip below and return with the cheque to Car Park Enforcement, Peak District National Park Authority, Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, DE45 1AE

How to appeal against a notice

Any appeal must be made in writing, to be received as below within 14 calendar days either by:

  1. Online using the form below (this is then preferred method and is logged against your Notice on completion of the form)
  2. Email carparks@peakdistrict.gov.uk
    Please allow at least 2 working days for your email to be acknowledged, if you have not received one within this time please resubmit.
  3. By post – Please allow at least 4 working days for the appeal to be received, the Authority cannot be responsible for delays in transit.

Please ensure that you have included the vehicle registration, Notice number, date of issue and your email and postal address in all contacts.

If the charge is not paid or notice successfully challenged

If this charge is not paid on or before the end of the 28 day period as specified on the front of the Notice, or successfully challenged, the Peak District National Park Authority will obtain your details from DVLA and commence proceedings in the Magistrates Court who may impose a fine not exceeding Level 2 on the Standard Scale.

For the purpose of proceedings it shall be presumed that the registered keeper of the vehicle was the driver at the relevant time of the alleged offence and accordingly that acts or omissions of the driver were those of the registered keeper.
